Position size before the click

The stop you can live with decides the lot. Not the other way around.

Size the stop first, then the lot.

A 0.01 lot on gold is not small if the stop is a hundred dollars away. A 0.10 lot is fine if the stop is tight and the account can pay it twice.

The position calculator exists so you do this before the click, not after a red candle.

Cashback does not change the stop. It changes the round-turn cost. Keep those two numbers apart.
